Went to east coast park with some of the cell groups member yesterday! Start of the day with preparing food to bring over there! So you can guess we are going to have a picinic at the beach! =)

Food Prepared! We prepared egg mayo with bread sandwich, fish fillet sandwich(our first time doing it), potato salad(our first time doing it),tibits and drinks! And off we go to east coast park! On our way there most of us felt asleep in the bus!

Me and Leon must be dreaming about food! haha! His is lemon tea dreamland while mine is tibits dreamland!

Soon... We reached EAST COAST!

And here we are at one of underpass at east coast!

Once reaching, we sat down to prepare the food we have brought! We are very very hungry! haha!

After eating, we went to the waters and beach!! =)

Last Week at Expo

Today was last service at Jurong west church. Next week I will be going to EXPO! Gonna miss the jurong west people. But a new chapter await at Expo! Probably can meet feng ming there! =)

After Service, we have some concert where various band came to performance for us. It was a eye catching experience. This is what we have when we go to church! haha!

When to BEST coffeeshop to fellowship as usual. After that went to Jurong Point with leon to hunt for a bible, couldnt get the one we are looking for. So went to shop for clothes! Went to FOX. Saw Davis working there! LOL! What a small world!

Anyway, went home after FOX with leon.

Today was JAVA module for school. Didnt really enjoy it. haha... But at least I get to know how to do it at the end of the day even though it was very confusing from the start.

I am getting to like my classmates more. Today I just found out that my class got 3 more christian! Which means there are 5 Christians in my class! That is so cool! haha!

Went for Prayer meeting yesterday at riverwalk with Amber, XiaoShi, Joshua and Kai Xiang. It been along time since I prayed for so long. It was great! Haha! There were laying hands also! After that, went for dinner with other members from the other cell groups too. God is Great!

Would You Want A Donut?

Hmmm... This might be a bit too long... But read it, it is a nice story... =) Here is goes....

There was a certain Professor of Religion named Dr. Christianson, a
studious man who taught at a small college in the Western United States.

Dr. Christianson taught the required survey course in Christianity at this
particular institution. Every student was required to take this course his
or her freshman year regardless of his or her major.

Although Dr. Christianson tried hard to communicate the essence of the
gospel in his class, he found that most of his students looked upon the
course as nothing but required drudgery. Despite his best efforts, most
students refused to take Christianity seriously.

This year, Dr. Christianson had a special student named Steve. Steve was
only a freshman, but was studying with the intent of going onto seminary for
the ministry. Steve was popular, he was well liked, and he was an imposing
physical specimen. He was now the starting center
on the school football team, and was the best student in the professor's
class.

One day, Dr. Christianson asked Steve to stay after class so he could talk
with him. "How many pushups can you do?"

Steve said, "I do about 200 every night."

"200? That's pretty good, Steve," Dr. Christianson said. "Do you think you
could do 300?"

Steve replied, "I don't know . . . I've never done 300 at a time."

"Do you think you could?" again asked Dr. Christianson.

"Well, I can try," said Steve.

"Can you do 300 in sets of 10? I have a class project in mind, and I need
you to do about 300 pushups in sets of ten for this to work. Can you do it?
I need you to tell me you can do it," said the professor.

Steve said, "Well . . . I think I can . . . yeah, I can do it."

Dr. Christianson said, "Good! I need you to do this on Friday. Let me
explain what I have in mind."

Friday came, and Steve got to class early and sat in the front of the room.
When class started, the professor pulled out a big box of donuts. Now these
weren't the normal kinds of donuts, they were the extra fancy BIG kind, with
cream centers and frosting swirls.

Everyone was pretty excited it was Friday, the last class of the day, and
they were going to get an early start on the weekend with a party in Dr.
Christianson's class.

Dr. Christianson went to the first girl in the first row and asked,"Cynthia,
do you want to have one of these donuts?"

Cynthia said, "Yes."

Dr. Christianson then turned to Steve and asked, "Steve, would you do ten
pushups so that Cynthia can have a donut?"

"Sure." Steve jumped down from his desk to do a quick ten. Then Steve again
sat in his desk. Dr. Christianson put a donut on Cynthia's desk.

Dr. Christianson then went to Joe, the next person, and asked, "Joe, do you
want a donut?"

Joe said, "Yes."

Dr. Christianson asked, "Steve would you do ten pushups so Joe can have a
donut?" Steve did ten pushups, and Joe got a donut.

And so it went, down the first aisle, Steve did ten pushups for every person
before they got their donut, and down the second aisle, till Dr.
Christianson came to Scott. Scott was on the basketball team, and in as good
condition as Steve. He was very popular and never lacking
for female companionship. When the professor asked, "Scott do you want a
donut?"

Scott's reply was, "Well, can I do my own pushups?"

Dr. Christianson said, "No, Steve has to do them."

Then Scott said, "Well, I don't want one then."

Dr. Christianson shrugged and then turned to Steve and asked, "Steve, would
you do ten pushups so Scott can have a donut he doesn't want?" With perfect
obedience Steve started to do ten pushups.

Scott said, "HEY! I said I didn't want one!"

Dr. Christianson said, "Look, this is my classroom, my class, my desks, and
these are my donuts. Just leave it on the desk if you don't want it." And he
put a donut on Scott's desk.

Now by this time, Steve had begun to slow down a little. He just stayed on
the floor between sets because it took too much effort to be getting up and
down. You could start to see a little perspiration coming out around his

brow. Dr. Christianson started down the third row. Now the students were
beginning to get a little angry.

Dr. Christianson asked Jenny, "Jenny, do you want a donut?"

Sternly, Jenny said, "No." Then Dr. Christianson asked Steve,"Steve, would
you do ten more pushups so Jenny can have a donut that she doesn't want?"
Steve did ten, and Jenny got a donut.

By now, a growing sense of uneasiness filled the room. The students were
beginning to say "No" and there were all these uneaten donuts on the desks.
Steve also had to really put forth a lot of extra effort to get these
pushups done for each donut. There began to be a small pool of sweat on the
floor beneath his face, his arms and brow were beginning to get red because
of the physical effort involved.

Dr. Christianson asked Robert, who was the most vocal unbeliever in the
class, to watch Steve do each pushup to make sure he did the full ten
pushups in a set because he couldn't bear to watch all of Steve's work for
all of those uneaten donuts. He sent Robert over to where
Steve was so Robert could count the set and watch Steve closely.

Dr. Christianson started down the fourth row. During his class, however,
some students from other classes had wandered in and sat down on the steps
along the radiators that ran down the sides of the room. When the professor
realized this, he did a quick count and saw that now there were 34 students
in the room.

He started to worry if Steve would be able to make it.

Dr. Christianson went on to the next person and the next and the next.

Near the end of that row, Steve was really having a rough time. He was
taking a lot more time to complete each set. Steve asked Dr. Christianson,
"Do I have to make my nose touch on each one?"

Dr. Christianson thought for a moment, "Well, they're your pushups...You are
in charge now. You can do them any way that you want." And Dr. Christianson
went on.

A few moments later, Jason, a recent transfer student, came to the room and
was about to come in when all the students yelled in one voice, "NO! Don't
come in! Stay out!" Jason didn't know what was going on.

Steve picked up his head and said, "No, let him come."

Professor Christianson said, "You realize that if Jason comes in you will
have to do ten pushups for him?"

Steve said, "Yes, let him come in. Give him a donut"

Dr. Christianson said, "Okay, Steve, I'll let you get Jason's out of the way
right now.

Jason, do you want a donut?" Jason, new to the room hardly knew what was
going on.

"Yes," he said, "give me a donut."

"Steve, will you do ten pushups so that Jason can have a donut?"
Steve did ten pushups very slowly and with great effort. Jason,bewildered,
was handed a donut and sat down.

Dr. Christianson finished the fourth row, then started on those visitors
seated by the heaters. Steve's arms were now shaking with each pushup in a
struggle to lift himself against the force of gravity. Sweat was profusely
dropping off of his face and, by this time, there was no sound except his heavy breathing, there was not a dry eye in the room.

The very last two students in the room were two young women, both
cheerleaders, and very popular. Dr. Christianson went to Linda, the second
to last, and asked, "Linda, do you want a doughnut?"

Linda said, very sadly, "No, thank you."

Professor Christianson quietly asked, "Steve, would you do ten pushups so
that Linda can have a donut she doesn't want?" Grunting from the effort,
Steve did ten very slow pushups for Linda.

Then Dr. Christianson turned to the last girl, Susan. "Susan, do you want a
donut?" Susan, with tears flowing down her face, began to cry.
"Dr. Christianson, why can't I help him?"

Dr. Christianson, with tears of his own, said, "No, Steve has to do it
alone, I have given him this task and he is in charge of seeing that
everyone has an opportunity for a donut whether they want it or not.

When I decided to have a party this last day of class, I looked at my grade
book. Steve, here is the only student with a perfect grade. Everyone else
has failed a test, skipped class, or offered me inferior work.

Steve told me that in football practice, when a player messes up he must do
pushups. I told Steve that none of you could come to my party unless he paid
the price by doing your pushups. He and I made a deal for your sakes.

Steve, would you do ten pushups so Susan can have a donut?" As Steve very
slowly finished his last pushup, with the understanding that he had
accomplished all that was required of him, having done 350 pushups, his arms
buckled beneath him and he fell to the floor.

Dr. Christianson turned to the room and said. "And so it was, that our
Savior, Jesus Christ, on the cross, plead to the Father, 'into thy hands I
commend my spirit.' With the understanding that He had done everything that
was equired of Him, he yielded up His life. And like some of those in this
room, many of us leave the gift on the desk,
uneaten."

Two students helped Steve up off the floor and to a seat, physically
exhausted, but wearing a thin smile. "Well done, good and faithful servant"
said the professor, adding "Not all sermons are preached in words."

Turning to his class the professor said, "My wish is that you might
understand and fully comprehend all the riches of grace and mercy that have
been given to you through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
who spared not the only Begotten Son, but gave him up for us all for the
whole Church, now and forever.

Whether or not we choose to accept His gift to us, the price has been paid.
Wouldn't you be foolish and ungrateful to leave it laying on the desk?"

Yea! Its acted by my favourite actor Will Smith! The movie is called Seven Pounds... I feel it is worth watching... Should watch it. Nice and touching story... I really want to say what it is about but I don't want to spoil this for you all... All I can say, when I watch this movie, it remind me of Jesus who die on the cross for us willingly to give us the gift of Salvation.

School ended early today, went to meet Joshua after school and ate this...

Went to Jurong West after that while Joshua went to AMK for work.

Went to check Hui Ting house if it is suitable for Cell Group Meeting with Terecia and then we went to the swing nearby her house to have a good talk! Then went to ZiYang house to meet Amber and Torance at about 9pm. They were playing Left4Dead there. Haha! Went home after that!

Going to shopping with Joshua and Melvin for food tomorrow! Prepared our Shopping list already! Haha!

Haha! Went to Ngee Ann Open house today with cell group members! Had fun! I was so excited about nothing but the FREE ice cream there! It was an experience for us! Saw my old secondary school mates, they from some media course. And they gave me tips on Abode Illustrator! Haha, I am going to learn Illustrator next! We took a group picture but I dont have it with me, will update it once I got it!

After Open House, I went back home after following Damien to Bukit Batok Basketball court for a while!

Times are bad now, problems are starting to come back over again. This time, its more and bigger!

Lost my headpiece in school today, nearly ended up late for test.
Went back home and something happen that just make me so down, down, down.
Its late at night and no one I can share with my problems.

Misunderstanding, stress, burdened, poverty, unappreciated, hurts, helpless is all I feel...

In all of this... I have a very little hope, that things will turn out better again...

Somewhere for a Godly Reason

Didn't attend school today, too tired to go. >.<

I have been asking myself, why do people backsilde? And the answer just came instantly to my mind.

"Because they depend on imperfect relationships."

Often, people who come church, they know many new church friends who make them feel comfortable.
They guide them, share sercets with them, as a result bonds are form.

However, all relationship with people are imperfect, never will be perfect as people are imperfect people. If anything went wrong, people will be disappointed, sad, hurt and therefore refuse to do what is right. And then they start to backsilde.

What is the right thing to do? Depend on God, the only perfect being. He will never forsake us in all times. Come to church and serve not friends, not church leaders BUT GOD. Serving God means, able to accept all kinds of environment he put us in to serve.

We are always Somewhere for a Godly Reason.

Went to Yun Xin house for Movie Screening after Service today! And we watch....

It was quite an old movie, but anyway we still watched it... It is a very nice movie, those who have not watch, it is recommanded! It is a movie teaching about the important of family. =) God spoke to me as I watched the show... Kind of a new relevation to me... Haha!

On the way home, I meet my secondary school teacher, Miss Ang! I didn't know she was also a christian. We spent some time talking, and sharing our testimonies. And it took us about 1 hour plus! Haha, was happy to meet her, after listening to her testimony I felt very blessed by it. Thanks! ^_^

Was at Joshua house yesterday night for overnight gaming with KaiXiang, Melvin, ZiYang and Torance. We played....and....
We had Fun together! It was a time laughter and joy!

In life, we face many problems... No one like them but the truth is everyone have them. I used to think that living a happy life with no problems or worries is the aim in life. However, as soon as I solve one problem, a new set of problem just appear right before me. Soon, it dawn on me that problems are part of life and it is impossible to avoid them or clear them all away. As long as you are breathing and living, problems will be there.

The crucial thing is not avoid them or to ignore them but to face them head on – with courage and wisdom.

Often when problems arise we tend to focus on why they have happened or who caused them. Doing these can easily get us caught up in the blame game or a victim mentality. A better way is to start saying, “Okay, we have this problem – what are we going to do about it? Focus your primary energy on solving the problem – for everyone’s benefit.

The issue in life is not whether you have problems or not but what you are doing about them. Problems can destroy us if we let them or they can be stepping stones to help us become stronger and better people. =)

Attend Christmas Cell Group today! It was great, got those kind of nice and homely family feeling. Didn't really take any pictures. But overall it is great and fun! Refreshment is good also... SUN is BACK!

Went to Changi Airport yesterday at about 11. Why? Because SUN is coming back to Singapore!
We were there at about 1 even though she will touchdown at singapore at 5 45. Alot of people were there too. While waiting for her to reach Singapore, we stayed at mac to kill time. Played poker cards and got bored of it. Haha.... its straight 4 hours of cards playing. After that went to receive SUN.

There were alot people at the airport to receive SUN! (this is only the small friction of it.)

Ok... I am back from KL yesterday at 1 plus... Hmmm along the way, I learned new things. Haha.. Also miss my cell group members... It was a experience for me. It been so long since I last went to malaysia. Things there seems expensive cause the numbers look big, but i found out i only spent 10 singapore dollars for the whole day? Super cheap lor. I ate

one burger for breakfast,
one pineapple rice, one ice milo for lunch
and two slices of cake from secret repice.

Isnt that cheap? All that for only 10 singapore dollars! Anyway, no pictures taken, phone low on batt...

Didn't attend school today.. >.< Too tired to go. Anyway, stayed at home and help my mum with a bit of household chore. Went to Xiaoshi house in the evening to dicuss about the upcoming Chirstmas Cell Group Event! After that went to explore the newly build extended Jurong Point with ZiYang and KaiXiang! Bought something there... Guess what is it??

Yea! Its my new shoe! Finally after so long, I got my new shoe from EverLast as the old one is far beyond wearing.

It cost me 59.90. Its expensive! But I got no choice, got to use them tomorrow... Currently broke after buying this pair of shoe.

Ok... Today is the feeling rich day... Why is that so? Cause I spent alot today. =.= Haha... Went to Mad Jack for dinner after prayer meeting at Aileen house... Food quite ok, taste nice... Today was the "whole day at home" day for me. Didn't go anywhere, just stayed at home and didn't do much. Just SMS and MSN. Haha! But it was unbearable doing all this the whole day. Like no life... But at least there were those who still accompany me through the day MSNing and SMSing. Thanks!

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as
· Romance 9.5 and
· Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as
· NBA 5.0,
· NFL 3.0 and
· Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

· Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

First, keep in mind,
· &n bsp; Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while
· Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
· If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.
· Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program.These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend
· Cooking 3.0 and
· Hot Lingerie 7.7.
